Owner and Operations Manager - Kathy Kish

Kathy Kish is a local gal and the owner of Green Acres Pet Care Centre since 2015. She was born and raised in Abbotsford BC on a dairy farm which in addition to all those cows, always included a variety of dogs big and small. At present Kathy owns a 9 year old golden lab named Chevy which she has had since he was a puppy.

Kathy is certified in DOGSAFE® Canine First Aid and is prepared to competently handle any situation while providing regular monitoring of every guests general health.

Professional Staff - Dave, Alexandra, Alivia and Tia

Our staff have many years of experience caring for pets in many different environments including SPCA, Pet Shelters and Pet Smart.

  • Dave has been with Green Acres Pet Care Centre since 2012, and is dedicated to all aspects of the business and dog care services quality.
  • Alexandra works part-time and has her Master Dog Trainer Certificate from Highland. Her long-term goal is to train service dogs.
  • Alivia started summer work at the kennel when she was 15 years old and after completing Grade 12 became a full-time employee. You will see Alivia at the kennel 6 days per week caring for your dogs and cats. She is hardworking and very dedicated to the well being of your pets. She loves caring and interacting with each guest. Alivia lives in the country close to the kennel with her family and they share a family dog by the name of Odie - a Maremma who is extremely loved.
  • Tia works Sundays while maintaining her Monday to Friday full-time job elsewhere. Before working at Green Acres Tia had volunteered 3 years at Abbotsford SPCA on weekends and Christmas Holidays. She spent many hours caring for the rescues there, giving them love & affection. Tia's dream job and goals are to work full-time with animals. She is a gentle and passionate employee who loves caring for our guests.

All staff members are required to maintain knowledge and expertise in dog behaviours through ongoing training and certification in DOGSAFE® Canine First Aid.
